Fanboys Review
The wait is finally over, Fanboys was released to DVD. When I first saw the trailer for this movie a couple of years ago I got really excited, hey who didn’t think of going to California and steal the movie before it came out. Well I didn’t but I thought it was a clever idea for a movie.
I was right this movie was pretty cool. You don’t have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy the jokes and of course all the Trekkie jokes, you just have to like comedies. The story line was much like Detroit Rock City which I loved. Four overzealous Star Wars fans on an epic quest to see episode one before their friend dies. I’m really glad they did not put too much emphasis on that part. Don’t get me wrong it plays into the whole story line but if you watched Marley and Me you’ll understand why I say that. The movie had some really cool placed cameos, and the king of all time William Shatner is even in it.
